Haute LA 2.0- Meet the Team!

We moved locations a while ago and it’s been a while since we’ve posted. So what better way to start this blog again than to introduce you to our new team?! Our salon space is incredible and the stylists and the professionals who have joined us are simply amazing.

First of all, we have our fearless leader, owner, hairapist, jack-of-all trades, Tara Barel. Tara has been in the beauty industry since 2001 and specializes in color corrections, blondes, curly hair, hotheads hair extensions and everything in between. Her primary goal is always getting you the look you covet without sacrificing the health of your hair.  In addition to being a business owner and a stylist, Tara is also a wife and a mom of two little ones.

 Dana Goldstein is our second most senior stylist. Dana graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2008, where she worked as an educator for a while, in addition to educating at Floyd’s Barber Shop as well. She specializes in everything from men’s cuts, women’s, blondes, vivid colors, extensions, and more. She is also a mom to a beautiful daughter.

 Devon Frazier has 7 years experience coloring, cutting and styling hair. She graduated from Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Bellingham, Washington and recently relocated to California with her husband in 2017. She’s worked for MTV and a couple salons in Long Beach before making Haute LA her salon home. She’s very down to Earth and would love any chance to get to help you with your hair needs!

 Tessa Weller is South Bay native who has had her cosmetology license for 2 years but has had her hands in anyone’s hair who will let her work her magic on it since grade school. In addition to doing great cuts and color, she loves doing braids, updos and extensions! Her favorite things outside of the salon are dogs and anything outdoors.

 Katharine Sanchez comes to us with a cosmetology license from Golden West College and is currently our spray tan specialist. Our customized, organic tan formula, coupled with Katharine’s expertise, will give you a gorgeous, sun-kissed glow that looks like the real thing without the wrinkles and sun damage. In her spare time, Katharine likes dancing and she also loves to bake!

 Amy Ricevuto is our amazing receptionist and has been in the beauty industry for over a decade, where she managed the flagship Sephora store in Boston, before her love for the sunshine bought her to SoCal. She is currently a receptionist at our salon as well as a hair and makeup connoisseur and a mom to 5 little ones.
